We had 5 new players compete in our July Tournament. Mark Maci made his name well-known has he went undefeated (6-0) in the U1200 coming out with an initial rating of 1140.
Several players earned well over 100+ rating points in this tournament: Qi Fan +381, Akhila Chitti +251, Manny Castillo +130, Samyak Jain +128, and Ruijie Teo +99.
Richardo Jimenez (2397) upset Rachid El Boubou (2455) in the U2500 finals in a close 5 gamer: 9,-5,11-,6,6.
