Timo Boll VideoBlog – “Comeback”

Posted on

(by Steve Hopkins)

Timo Boll posted this video blog this morning.  It follows his trip to Dusseldorf for his first league match in 5 months.  Aside from hearing from Timo (in English) and seeing a behind the scenes view of preparation and warm-up with his teammates, the quality of the video is very good.  In fact, some of the angles and shots are creative (including one shot of the Butterfly-sponsored player in his Butterfly logo socks putting on his Butterfly logo shoes in front of a carefully positioned Butterfly bag).  Speaking of which, (in case anyone needed to know), Timo uses pull-lace-locks on his playing shoes and doesn’t actually tie laces.  The Borussia Dusseldorf team seem to really enjoy their warm-ups and mix in a great deal of playful interactions with the technical drills needed to prepare.

Enjoy the video showing not just Timo Boll, but also Anton Kallberg, and Kristian Karlsson and other members of the team.
