Thomas Keinath will be running a camp in Florida this summer. Broward Table Tennis Club will be host to the event in Davie, Florida. BTTC is a “National Club of Excellence” in the US – they offer Butterfly tables, professional rubber flooring, and even a lounge and bistro. BTTC was also host this winter to the Butterfly 2018 February BTTC Open.

Keinath is a former German National Team member who endeared himself to American fans with his deep runs at the US Open and other major tournaments in the USA (He won the US Open in 2009 and 2011). He runs a training facility in Germany, is a current member of the Rhön SprudelBundesliga team, and has a current USATT rating of 2762. He has been a bridge between some of the most popular players in the world and the US as he trains regularly with Timo Boll and other top European players and also has played host to US players at his facility in Germany, has befriended numerous US players, and has traveled to events and tournaments in the US even as our market in the sport has been comparatively smaller and less-developed than the markets closer to his home in Europe.

The details of the camp are as follows:

Training Camp for 2018 U.S. Open & World Veteran’s Table Tennis Championship 
June 10th, 2018 to June 13th, 2018

The intensive training will take place two times per day with each session lasting two hours  (10:00a-12:00p and 12:30p-2:30p)

The training includes:

  • Multiple Techniques
  • Impact
  • Strategy and Tactics
  • Footwork
  • Mental Preparation
  • Speed
  • Competition Practice
  • Multi-ball Training will also be utilized.
  • The training is open to players of all ages and all levels.
