The 13th South Shore Sports/Butterfly Open

The 13th South Shore Sports/Butterfly Open was held last weekend October 22-23. 141 competitors traveled to this northwest Indiana city  to compete and watch the Nate Wasserman Junior events. $7,200 was awarded to the winners and semifinalists in the age brackets 18,15 and 13 in boys and girls singles.
 
 18 and Under Boys  
 1st Roger Liu  $1,100   2nd Michael Wolski  $600. Dion Miller $200 and Mani Nagarathnam $200
 
18 and Under Girls 
  Angie Tan 1st $1,100  2nd Sarah Zhou  $600. 3rd Emily Tan  $200
 
15  Boys    
1st Michael Wolski    $600    2nd Roger Liu  $300.   3rd/4th  Sid Naresh  $100.
David Cui  $100.
  
15 Girls  
1st Emily Tan $600. 2nd  Rachel Zhou  $300. 3rd Angie Tan
 
13 Boys  
 1st Sid Naresh $300. 2nd David Cui  $200. 3rd/4th Marty Stoner/Nandan Naresh
 
13 girls  
1st Emily Tan  $300. 2nd Angie Tan $200.
 
The Open Singles was won by Dan Seemiller over Xu Junwei of Lindenwood.
