After five years of good use, we say good bye to the Training Center at 18 Louisa, the first dedicated National Training Center in Table Tennis Canada’s history.

As a legacy of the TO2015 PAN AM/PARAPAN GAMES the National Training Center moves into the Markham PAN AM Centre in Markham, ON as of Oct 1, 2015. The TO2015 Games leaves a legacy of facilities in the Greater Toronto area for high performance sport development. The Markham Pan Am Centre provides an excellent opportunity for continuing support and development of Table Tennis in Canada. The facility design, built to international competition standards, provides a main gymnasium of approximately 30,000 sq ft. that hosted the Pan Am/Parapan Games badminton and table tennis competitions.

The National Training Centre will be located in the adjacent smaller gym space which can accommodate 9-12 tables for training. Table Tennis Canada has been working on a partnership with a local table tennis group and the OTTA to share this space as a full-time dedicated area for table tennis. The Markham Pan Am Centre will be the new home of the national team when top national players are in Canada. It is also an excellent facility for national and international training camps. The building also houses a state of the art fitness center and a 50 m pool – the national team will have access to both.

Table Tennis Canada’s Office will remain in Ottawa at 18 Louisa Street. For any questions, feel free to contact us:
