Steven Moreno First In The World For 25 Consecutive Weeks In The U-13 Category Of The International Table Tennis Federation

Congratulations STEVEN MORENO for been 25 consecutive weeks in the U-13 Category of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

Since January, Steven Joel Moreno Rivera has been in first place in the U13 Category, this is a historic milestone since it is the first time in the history of Puerto Rican Table Tennis that a Puerto Rican tennis player manages to dominate the world in a category.

Steven has a planning full of training and competitions in which the young Coameño has many commitments and responsibilities at such a young age.  This year Steven has participated in 7 World Circuits in his category where the best table tennis players meet and has achieved 5 finals, including two consecutive Championships. Three silver medals and one bronze. He is without a doubt the most consistent player in this category and thanks to that consistency he has been #1 in the world for 25 consecutive weeks.

Steven, a member of the Table Tennis Program of the School Specialized in Sports at the Olympic Hostel, trains daily at the Olympic Hostel facilities from Monday to Saturday where the technical and tactical part is covered and in spaces during the week, he works on the physique in his town Coamo with physical trainers Anthony Martell and Edgard Gutiérrez.

Moreno Rivera has a complete planning by his work team both in the part of the table with Edgardo Vázquez and Carlos Gracia, the psychological part in his great part helps with many exercises his mother and psychologist Ivisseise Rivera and the physical part by the preparers mentioned above.
