One of the best Round Robin Competition in Colorado
Last Saturday we had one of our best Round Robin Competitions in a long time with 33 players participating, a special feature was that we had a Multi Ethnic constituency representing 9 Nations!
The competition was strong, very closed too, we had 29 matches going to the 5th game.
Highlights and upsets:
-Loi Pham rated 2160 in an epic 1 hour match beat Basil Ibegbu 2146 finishing with cramps on both legs!
-Yen Nguyen, 63 years old rated 1900, beat Austin Preiss rated 2400.
-Phong Pham had a perfect record of 7 wins no losses
-Marek Carr 10, Mason Helms 13 and Bogdan Malakhau, were the youngest competitors, they all had a great performance.
-Kids program:
Starting November we will start a kids program in Top Spin Center, twenty kids from ages 7 to 13 years old will be trained, this way we contribute to solve the greatest need of our sport, forming and training kids to become better persons and better Table Tennis players. Finally, I am glad to announce that Top Spin now opens four days a week!.
Table Tennis is growing and getting better in Colorado!
A huge thank to Butterfly, competition was played on Butterfly Tables, nets and barriers. Thanks to Butterfly and Bowie Martin foe their support through the years.
