This past Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, Quito hosted the first round of the Butterfly Challenger, a tournament sponsored by Butterfly and endorsed by the Ecuadorian Table Tennis Federation (FETM).
The circuit awards points toward the national ranking and aims to provide greater competitive and development opportunities for the next generation of Ecuadorian table tennis players.
Athletes from Santo Domingo, Tena, Quito, Ambato, Riobamba, and Carchi participated in this first round, competing in the U13 and U15 categories.

The Butterfly Challenger will continue providing athletes with opportunities to compete, earn national ranking points, and continue growing.
