In this edition we have, Dell Sweeris, Connie Sweeris, David Sakai, and Donna Sakai discussing their overlapping histories in the sport.  They were each strong junior players, each had a successful and notable career, and each have reinvented themselves with a second act on the senior circuit at US tournaments and World Veteran events.

The stories begin with one tournament where all four remember playing together.  David and Dell were rivals who met in singles as well Donna and Connie.  The ladies paired in doubles, Dell and Connie became a pair on the court as well as off, and David’s first attempt at a mixed doubles partner didn’t go well.  Over the years, these four have great individual success on the tables, have had great success in doubles and mixed doubles pairs, two pairs have had great success in marriage, and all four have become great friends.
