PING-PONG DIPLOMACY CELEBRATION TOURNAMENT – AUGUST 13-14, 2022

 

Celebration Tournament Singles and Team Events. Over $2000 In Cash Prize.

ENTRY DEADLINE: August 5th, 2022

ENTRY FEES:

  • FREE entry for OPEN TEAM event if a player entered in U2500, U2350, or U2200 event. All other players each pays $55 at check-in.
  • $55/event for event U2500, U2350, and U2200
  • $45/event for all other rating events
  • $15 registration fee $15 late fee to enter after the entry deadline if space permits.


RATING RULES:

  • Event eligibility will be determined by rating list generated on July 30th, 2022
  • The most recent rating will be used for seeding.


ELIGIBILITY:

  • USATT membership is required and must be valid through the date of the tournament ($25/yr).
  • Details on USATT membership can be found on USATT website.


PLAYING FORMAT:

  • SINGLES EVENT: Each event will start with RR of 3-4 people, followed by singles elimination playoff. All matches are best of 5 to 11 pointes.
  • TEAM EVENT: Single elimination play of 32 teams. Each team has 3 to 4 players. Teams play 4 singles and 1 doubles match in best 3 of 5 games format. Playing order is:
  1. A – X
  2. B – Y
  3. C & A/B – Z & X/Y
  4. A/B – Z (player that didn’t play doubles vs Z)
  5. C – X/Y (C vs player that didn’t play doubles)


EQUIPMENT

* Player rackets are subject to random testing for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) Clothing must be mainly non-white.
