Open Doors: Princeton Pong

(by Steve Hopkins)

Princeton Pong, the 10,000 square foot elite table tennis facility in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, has opened.  They are currently restricting play to members, and only on a reservation basis.

Regulations have restricted them to 25% of their capacity, so this limits the maximum number of players to 20 (in a club that normally operates with 14 tables, and room for fans and staff as well).  Masks are required to enter the building and must be worn at all times until one begins playing at the designated table.  Hand sanitizer and table cleaner is provided.  All who enter have their temperature checked and are provided a questionnaire and waiver before being allowed to enter.  Staff are sanitizing frequently touched surfaces each hour.

They have not yet expanded to be able to run leagues or tournaments, but the doors are open, players are coming, and they are off to a great start.

Location: 745 Alexander Rd, Princeton Jct, NJ 08550
