One Month Until the US Nationals (Register through June 15)

Posted on

(by Steve Hopkins)

Fort Worth Convention Center will host The 2023 US National Table Tennis Championships.  The event will run from July 3-7 and will include 112 events with a variety of age and rating tiered singles and doubles events, hardbat and sandpaper events, Parkinson events, and the featured Hsing Family Foundation Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles championship events.

A year ago, Nikhil Kumar and Sharon Alguetti fought through a seven game match that entertained the crowd and ended with Nikhil’s 11-8 win.  It was Nikhil’s first National Championship – a title he’ll be planning to defend next month.  In Women’s Singles, it was Lily Zhang who won her sixth National Championship- outlasting fifth-seeded 15-year old Sally Moyland 4-2.  Expect to see all of these stars back again – along with many others.

If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time.  Visit the USATT’s US Nationals site for more information, or sign up through Omnipong.com.
