Khalil Al-Mohannadi announces candidacy for ITTF President
President of the Qatar Table Tennis Association since 1995, Khalil Al-Mohannadi has announced his candidacy for President of the International Table Tennis Federation; he is now one of two contenders for the position.

Earlier this year in October, Germany’s Thomas Weikert, the incumbent ITTF President position, also announced his intention to run for office.

The elections will be held on Wednesday 31st May at the Annual General Meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany, to be held on the occasion of the Liebherr 2017 World Championships.

A member of the ITTF Executive Committee since 2007, Khalil Al-Mohannadi is the current ITTF Vice President, an office he has held since 2015 and also held between 2005 and 2006.
