István Jonyer – 4x World Champion- visits WCTTA
A very special visit by 4x World Champion, Istvan Jonyer from Hungary to WCTTA recently. Coaches Li Zhen Shi and Zhang Li were able to walk down memory lane and reminisce on the past with the Hungarian legend. The 3 World Champions with a combined total of 12 World Championship Titles (4 Golds each), have not seen each other for 33 years.

Istvan Jonyer became the World Champion in Men’s Singles 1975, World Doubles Champion in 1971 & 1975 as well as World Champion with the Hungarian team in 1979 alongside Gabor Gergely & Tibor Klampar.

This visit is such a memorable & unforgettable moment for all of us at WCTTA.
