A few weeks ago, the ITTF released viewership statistics on their main 2022 events – the World Championship Finals, the WTT Champions, and the WTT Cup Finals.  According to their statistics, the number of unique visitors who watched at least one of the three main events online was 255 million.  However, beyond their online reach, the events were broadcast in 135 markets (providing a cumulative reach of about 2.25 billion).  The estimates, combining broadcast viewership and online viewership is a cumulative audience of 932 million.

The three events were the ITTF 2022 World Championships Finals Chengdu, the WTT Champions Macao 2022, and WTT Cup Finals Xinxiang 2022.  These three events were all held over a one month period from September 30 to October 30 – so that 932 million number was all over a 31 day period.
