Tomokazu Harimoto has crashed out of the Junior Boys’ Singles at the 2017 All Japan Table Tennis Championships.

Child prodigy Harimoto lost in the quarter-finals to Haruki Miyamoto in a game that went the full distance. Miyamoto managed to take the final game 11-8 and progress to the semi-finals.

Harimoto, the 12 year old wonder-kid, went in to the All Japan Championships in formidable form after he surprised everyone to become the youngest player ever to win the Boys’ Singles title at the Sun International 2016 World Junior Championships held in Cape Town, South Africa last December.
