The Tischtennis Bundesliga (TTBL) final four has begun. Dusseldorf has already advanced – winning the first two in the best 2 of 3 series over Grunwettersbach. Both of Dusseldorf’s wins were 3-0, so they have not yet been pushed. in a home/away/home format (with the higher seed having the advantage of hosting two matches).
The stage is now set for the other match-up. Saarbrucken takes on Ochsenhausen on April 8th.
The first playoff match occurred Sunday as Borussia Dusseldorf dominated the fourth-seeded ASV Grunwettersbach. Boll defeated Xang Xi 3-0, Kallberg defeated Dang Qiu 3-2, and Karlsson defeated Kozul 3-2. Dusseldorf will play the second match next Saturday in Grunwettersbach – and if a third match is needed, it would be played on April 11th.
The other playoff match will be between Ochsenhausen and Saarbrucken. The first match is set for April 8.
