Rhode Island Table Tennis Association / Club
Manville, Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Table Tennis Association is a volunteer organization dedicated to the enjoyment of the sport of Table Tennis. The club features leagues, tournaments, coaching and a pro shop.  For most of the year, the club is open 5 days a week – in the Summer that is reduced to Monday/Tuesday/Thursday.  All are welcome.

Quarterly USATT sanctioned tournaments are usually held in Jan (Winter Open), Mar/Apr (Spring Open), May/Jun (Summer Open), and Oct/Nov (Winter Open). The club also hosts the RI Senior Games and in some years, NCTTA events.  Check the site for current information.

Rhode Island has been a part of the American table tennis scene for over 70 years.  RITTA has operated a club in Rhode Island since 1945, drawing players form RI, MA, and CT weekly.  Originally in Providence, the club moved to Warwick briefly in the 70s before relocating to the current building in Manville.  A former Rhode Island champion (Dick Evans) is in the USATT Hall of Fame, some of the best players in the region have attended our events, Brown University has been a strong regional competitor in the NCTTA collegiate events, and USA Table Tennis Magazine was produced here from 2008-2015.
