Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.

Position Overview:

Bowmar Sports is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily activities for a 30,000 sq. foot warehouse. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing all warehouse operations and staff, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards, maintenance, inventory, stocking, and repairs.

Responsibilities:

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, and assuring quality/accuracy of goods shipped out
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse staff
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas needing improvement and establish/adjust existing work procedures and practices
Call for dumpster removal and replacement if needed
Ability to interview/hire new staff or terminate staff as needed

Requirements and Skills:

Prior experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar applicable role
Strong leader with the ability to delegate
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
MS Office proficiency and knowledge of/ability to learn warehouse software packages
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
