If you are a serious table tennis player and want to play on a high quality competition grade table, Butterfly tables are the ones to get. I highly recommend using the Butterfly Centerfold 25, Octet 25 and Europa 25 tables. They are approved by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and official tables of the “We are Butterfly” Clubs. Made in Germany, they are of regulation size and height and comes with a high quality net. At my club, Los Angeles Table Tennis Assoc. (LATTA), we have a total of 15 Centerfold and Europa tables. Excellent quality, they lasts for a long time!
Having played 2 Olympics, 4 Pan American Games, over 10 World Championships, & many International & National US Competitions, I find the Butterfly professional tables to be the best of all! The 1 inch table top is an incredibly durable wooden structure. The ball does not skid. As a matter of fact, it gives a very consistent & crispy ball bounce. Unlike some other pro tables, the Centerfold, Octet and Europa tables have no lighting glare on the table top, which gives us a clear view of where the ball is traveling. The table frame and 4 legs are made of heavy duty steel. There are no assembly required. Open the box, pull out the legs, put on the net and you are ready to play & sweat! If you have a full-time club or a place that you do not have to move the table and put away after usage, then the Europa is the table for you. However, if you have to put your table away, then get the Centerfold or Octet. All tables are very easy to fold up and takes up less storage space. There’s a safety system preventing table to open and close accidently. Transportation of table is of ease as well.
