Butterfly, Official Table & Ball Sponsor of Canada Cup #2

Butterfly is proud to be the official table and ball sponsor for the upcoming Canada Cup #2 table tennis tournament.

Canada Cup #2 is November 14-15, 2015 at the Fortius Sport and Health on 3713 Kensington Avenue in Burnaby, British Columbia.  This 3-star tournament, sanctioned by Table Tennis Canada, is a qualifying tournament, which leads to the Canada Cup Final on January 8-9, 2016. The Canada Cup Final serves as the Canadian National Team Selection competition and as the Canadian Olympic Qualifier.

British Columbia Table Tennis Association, BCTTA, is the tournament organizer. Tony Xu is the tournament director. Canada Cup #2 features four events, Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, U2250 and U1750. A maximum of 32 players (32 men and 32 Women) will be accepted to compete. Should there be more than 32 players entered, a qualifying competition will be held on Saturday morning at 9:00am. Players on the National Team Squad – Olympic, World, Shadow, Junior and Cadet are qualified for the Men’s Singles or the Women’s Singles and do not need to play in the qualification. The top 20 players after the Canada Cup #2 will qualify for the Canada Cup finals.
