Ottawa, ON – July 7, 2015  – Table Tennis Canada is pleased to announce its official ball for the next few years. “We had a very active bidding process with six excellent bids; all came from top rated brands which made the final decision very difficult,” announced Brian Ash, TTCAN’s Director of Marketing. “With the change to the new plastic ball, it very important for us to go with a top quality product. To be fair, all of the brands that submitted proposals met this criterion. However, Butterfly simply had the best bid to support the programs of Table Tennis Canada. We look forward to help Butterfly promote its ball.”

TTCAN will distribute a number of free balls to all the provincial teams that will compete in the 2015 Canadian Championships in August in Trois Rivières, QC. Throughout the year, the balls will be used for National Team Training, development camps and all major table tennis competitions in Canada.
