Butterfly America Open Hosted by ICC Features Top Talent

ICC (India Community Center) in Milpitas, California has become one of the most well known full-time table tennis facilities in America. In addition to their superb elite training programs, extensive coaching staff and professional space, ICC is pushing the envelope in producing high level USATT competitions. On May 4 -6, hundreds of the best table tennis players from around the Bay Area and beyond will compete at ICC for $7,500 in total prize money at the Butterfly America Open, a USATT Sanctioned 4-start event.

With 21 events, ranging from U150 to Men’s and Women’s Singles, the ICC Butterfly America Open will draw enthusiastic table tennis players of all ages and levels for the exciting 3-day event. Headlining the event will be the Men’s and Women’s Singles competitions, which will feature some of the best players and coaches in the country – expect 2400/2500+ competition from the quarterfinals onwards. Canadian superstar Zhen (Eugene) Wang leads the current Men’s singles standing while Ruini Li (2513) holds the parallel position for Women’s Singles. In the age events, USA Table Tennis National Team members will lead the charge, with Rachel Sung (2436), William Bai (2359), Joanna Sung (2286) and Ayane Saito (2275) having already confirmed their entries.
