Burgos & Kumahara Campeones Suramericanos (Español)

Felicidades a Nicolas BurgosCaroline Kumahara – Campeones Individuales del Evento Suramericano Pereira, Colombia 2022.

Con la participación de 63 jugadores de 8 países de la región, el Campeonato Suramericano fue todo un éxito, concentrando a los mejore jugadores del Sur de America, el evento se llevó a cabo del 21 al 27 de Julio de 2022, en Pereira Colombia.

Burgos en ascenso, el jugadore chileno de 20 años, destacó en esta edición, llevándose los títulos de campeón Individual y Dobles en la rama Masculina, así como también semifinalista en equipos Masculino.

Chile ha mostrado un dominio por años y con este galardón en la categoría masculina, reafirma su desarrollo y poder dentro de la región.

Por otra parte, en la rama femenina Caroline Kumahara, destaca como una de las mejores atletas de la región, llevando a Brasil a coronarse como campeón absoluto del evento.

Caroline, fue la máxima medallista del evento, con tres (3) oros: Individual, Equipos y Dobles, y un (1) bronce en Dobles Mixto junto a Erik Jouti, para un total de cuatro (4) medallas.

Nicolas Burgos:  “I feel very happy now and I can’t believe this result. Last year was a tough year for me and my family when my dad passed away, but now I have sacrificed it. I feel that everything is worth it. I will continue to practice more and work hard to join the ranks of the best players in the world.”

Carolina Kumahara: “I’m very happy with this title. It wasn’t easy to play here, but I think the key to winning was to stay focused until the end and do one point, one point and the best. I’m happy with my performance.”
