The Broward Table Tennis Club is at 3371 N. University Drive in Davie, Florida, just North of Miami in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton metropolitan area of the Southeast coast of the State. The club is near to Florida’s Turnpike about 12 miles from Fort Lauderdale and 25 miles from Miami Beach.
Broward Table Tennis Club merged with South Florida Table Tennis a few years ago to create a prestigious, state of the art club. The facility has 19 tables, robots, blue table tennis flooring, ideal lighting, and high ceilings. They are one of 11 clubs chosen to be a “National Club of Excellence” in the US. They also have a lounge with chairs, couches, tables, flat screen TV’s and WIFI that overlooks the playing areas. During tournaments, they also feature Le Bistro in their kitchen area that provides a large menu for competitors.
The club offers regular tournaments – including the Butterfly 2019 BTTC Open that is coming up June 21-23. There are camps and coaching opportunities – the next camp is June 17-29. And the ITTF World Veterans Tour will have a stop at Broward with their event October 17-20. There are regular clinics on Tuesdays and Saturdays, courses for kids on Friday and Sunday, and a handicap event every Friday.
