LATTA  BUTTERFLY THANH BANH MEMORIAL OPEN SAT, JAN. 22, 2022!!! SPONSORED BY SI & PATRICIA WASSERMAN!

This tournament holds dear to me.  It is in memory of my Dad who passed away on Jan 23, 2015 to pneumonia at age 81.  Prior, he suffered from leukemia for a couple of years but it didn’t stop him from playing table tennis.  He was also avid pip player…..it runs in the Banh family!  I’ve been dedicating a tournament on his behalf every year with the exception of 2020 & 2021 due to pandemic.  Since this is a more meaningful tournament, I’m awarding prize $$ in all events with increased $$.  BIG SHOUTOUT TO SI & PATRICIA WASSERMAN FOR THEIR ENCOURAGEMENT, GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT!  THEY WILL ALSO DONATE A BRAND NEW BUTTERFLY OCTET TABLE AS SOON AS IT’S AVAILABLE IN STOCK AGAIN! SPEAKING OF BUTTERFLY TALBE, I’D LIKE TO RECOGNIZE EDDY LIN OF SCIENSCOPE FOR DONATING A NEW BUTTERFY OTCTET TABLE TO LATTA IN 2021!

Our trophies are the BEST and BIGGEST compared to all other Clubs!  2 feet tall, made of real marble!!!   As always, 2 players advance from preliminary round robin in all events!  Singles events include U1150RR, U1275RR, U1550RR, U185RR, U11950RR, U2050RR, U2150RR & U2300RR!
