This Ask the Experts question was answered by Sung Soo Jung. Coach Jung is the head coach at the Jung Table Tennis Club in Los Angeles, CA and his response is as follows:

Dear Ben,

In your question, you mentioned that you are an attacking player who enjoys topspin strokes on forehand.

Dignics 05, recognized for its high spin performance is recommended for high level attacking play.  Furthermore, high level density it features makes it excellent for generating topspin.  In short, Dignics 05 might be the rubber you are looking for to improve your forehand topspin strokes.

As for your backhand, Tenergy 05 FX might be good for you. Tenergy 05 FX features High Tension technology with a Spring Sponge that produces a softer feeling that gives players better control for their backhand strokes for spin and block.

I hope my suggestions are helpful to you.

Good luck!

Coach Jung
