Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Andro Carbon Light OFF +
Forehand Rubber: Andro Rasant Grip
Backhand Rubber: Sriver FX

Question: Dear sir/madam,
I am using Rasant Grip and Sriver FX. My setup is very slow and prefer something faster. I have tried out Tenergy 05 FX with the Stiga NCT Intensity Carbon. I find the rubber good for spinny loops but it is not fast enough. My forehand is spinny so I use my forehand for looping backspin. My backhand is not as spinny but it is more faster than my forehand. I would like a blade, which is fast and it suits the rubbers. Would you mind suggest for me a backhand and forehand rubber and a blade.
Thanks

Hi Rajiv,

Andro light carbon is not a fast blade and should pair with fast rubber.

If you want to keep using the same Andro blade, you can use Tenergy 05 (not 05FX) as your forehand rubber and Tenergy 64 as backhand rubber. Or, you could use the same Rasant Grip forehand rubber but switch to a faster blade and faster backhand rubber, such as Butterfly Innerforce ZLC and Tenergy 05 FX, respectively.

Best of luck!
