Posted on September 30, 2019 Ask The Experts: Nan Li, No. 276 Butterfly Table Tennis Question and AnswerQuestion:What is the best alternative blade for TIMO BOLL W5 blade?Answer:

This Ask the Experts question was answered by Coach Nan Li. She is one of the coaches at the World Champions Table Tennis Academy in Santa Clara, CA. Coach Li’s response is as follows:

Hi Cecil,

Thanks for your question and interest in Butterfly equipment.

I recommend for you to try the Boll Allround blade. This blade has a similar soft to medium feel compared to your current Timo Boll W5 blade and provides a nice balance for the passive and active game.

Hope you find this helpful and enjoy your new equipment.

Best,

Nan Li
