Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

Hi What blade would you recommend for an advanced player who typically plays offensive from mid and far distance – an obvious choice seems like the Jun Mizutani but I found it a bit hard, would you recommend anything else?

Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Jinxin Wang. He is a Coach at Google in Mountain View, California. Coach Wang’s response is as follows:

Hi John,

The Timo Boll ZLC will give you the traditional Carbon feel and power and will also increase the time the ball stays on the paddle to produce maximum speed and spin.

It is a good blade for powerful attackers that like to loop and smash to win points.

Because you like to play from mid and far distance, I recommend this blade for you.

Thank you!

Best,

Jinxin
