Ask The Experts: Hui Wang No. 307

Posted on Ask The Experts: Hui Wang No. 307 Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer Question: Question #1 I am a player who prefers to attack with a forehand loop and open up the rally with a chiquita. Once the really starts, I choose counterattacking for my backhand and loop kills with my forehand. Is there a blade and a rubber that suits my style more than my current setup. I am an intermediate player. Question #1 I am a player who prefers to attack with a forehand loop and open up the rally with a chiquita. Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Hui Wang. He is a coach at Houston Int’l Table Tennis Academy in Katy, Texas. Coach Wang’s response is as follows:
Hi Jesse,

#1: Rozena is a good choice for you. If you want the best one, then you can try to use Tenergy 05 for both sides. For the blade you can try Viscaria which is a powerful blade for attackers.

#2: If your main backhand, also you like more counterattack and block, you can try to use Tenergy 64 which has good control or Tenergy 05 FX which has good counterattack speed, both rubbers are good for backhand.
Good luck!

Coach Wang
