Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Balsa/wood laminate

Question: I used to use Butterfly D13 1.5 on my forehand and an anti spin on my backhand. I am mostly a forehand looper and a backhand blocker. I like my paddle to be as light as possible so I don’t require a thick foam in that regard. I feel the D13 gives me good spin with good control but because I can no longer get it with 1.5 sponge what rubbers do you recommend for for my paddle?

Coach Dan Seemiller, Ask The ExpertsAnswer: Hi Joseph,

I recommend Sriver rubber 1.5. This will give you excellent spin and control.

Enjoy!
