Question: Hi! Im 54 and planning to play table tennis again after a 30 year break. I see a lot of new brands that didn’t exist some years ago. I used to play with super Sriver rubbers, but even back then they were a bit difficult to control for me. What do you suggest? Always had some trouble blocking and handling services. I think because super Sriver was too fast for me. I thank you for the information you kindly give me. Greetings from Mexico City

Answer:  Hi Gerardo,

Thanks for your question and interest in Butterfly equipment.

I recommend the Zhang Jike Box. This pre-assembled professional racket comes with a carbon fiber blade, with Flextra rubber (2.1mm) for forehand and 1.9mm for the backhand. Since the Sriver rubber was too fast for you before, the Flextra rubber should provide you with more control. The Zhang Jike box also includes a free racket case as well.

I hope you will enjoy your new racket.

Best,
