AITTA had another celebration party
Autumn is the season of harvest. 2016 is reckoned to be a wonderful year for Atlanta International Table Tennis Academy. October 29, at our academy facility, we hosted another celebration party for our two elite young athletes, Emilie Lin and Daniel Ng, who recently were admitted into National Junior Girls’ Team and National Mini Cadet Boys’ Team respectively. Emilie Lin is 15 years old, and Daniel Ng is only 12 years old. They have been learning and practicing table tennis seven years here. More than 70 people attended the joyful party.

At the same venue, three month ago, we organized a festival like party and raised more than $15,000 for Yijun Feng for his journey to Rio Olympic Games.

To celebrate and recognize these two young players’ outstanding athletic achievements and encourage more kids to follow their footsteps, the principal and owner of AITTA, National coach, Shigan Yang generously awarded each athletes $500 cash and fine-looking golden foil certificates. In addition, Yijun Feng made a special trip from University of George back to city Johns Creek for this event. He delivered a short speech to audiences and advised those two players don’t be self-satisfied with their achievements, rather to set up higher goal and work hard for it. In the end, he offered each player $200 award.

In total, AITTA has three players in national teams currently. Arguably we are one of the top five table tennis academies in US.

The party was full of joy and laughs. More than 70 people from multiple ethnic groups showed up. Abundant, authentic and superior quality Chinese foods and fruits were also provided for free to attendees. AITTA awarded 28 certificates to its outstanding students and loyal supporters.

Journalists from World Journal Chinese Daily Newspapers, Atlanta Georgia Table Tennis Associate executives, photographers, neighbors, friends, and many volunteers exhibited their zest toward our event. People felt their belongings to the academy. We are a true family.

Jie Chang, Director of AITTA, ITTF coach hosted this event and wrote this report.
