Butterfly released Aibiss in June of 2020. It is a very tacky, high-friction rubber with a specialized top sheet with a pimple shape that enables heavy spin as well as a curved arc over the net. It has the hardest sponge ever of all Butterfly rubbers, even surpassing Dignics 09c, at 50 degree hardness. All these features are thanks to the applied production technology of “spring sponge.” Aibiss has great control with comparable spin as Dignics 64, but at a very affordable price of $39.99. It is the low-priced version of Dignics 09c, just as Rozena is the low-priced version of Tenergy. It is recommended for a defensive, controlled or counterattacking player that appreciates the characteristics of a friction rubber, enabling precision and heavy spin play. It is best pair with any other Butterfly blades and Chack glue series when assembling.
