Earlier this month, table tennis player Adriana Diaz was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Local 2023: Puerto Rico.  The first paragraph of the article notes that the list includes “30 changemakers, leaders and founders making waves in Puerto Rico”.  Joining Puerto Rico’s most famous table tennis athlete on the list are political activists, investors, developers, entrepreneurs, spokespeople, artists, engineers, and a pair of bakers.

The bio for Adriana Diaz notes that she is the top ranked table tennis player outside of Asia, and that the Diaz sisters recently launched Pretty-Ugly, a company that produces eco-friendly notebooks made of sugar cane composed of biodegradable and compostable materials.   The bio goes on to note Adriana’s work with major brands Toyota, Universal Insurance, and Banco Popular.
