Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

Hello. My racket was stolen. I am looking for a new blade. The Iolite Neo is out of stock. I prefer topspin 1meter behind the table. I am looking for arylate carbon. Boll Spirit off and viscaria i played before. They are too slow. What can you recommend? Actually i try Yinhe T8 Arylate carbon. I think i miss the feeling and it is a little bit too fast. Thanks a lot!! Or have you an idea where i can buy an iolite neo?

Greetz Mario

Answer:

Dear Mario,

Thank you for your question.

In your email, you mentioned that the Timo Boll Sprit and Viscaria are too slow. You also said that Yinhe T8, which is constructed with an Arylate/Carbon Layer, is a little bit too fast.

Since the Iolite Neo blade you are looking for is no longer available, I would like to recommend the Zhang Jike T5000, which is faster than the blades you used to enjoy. As a model which is designed with speed in mind, the Zhang Jike T5000 gives the player excellent power when attacking and it will definitely give you great feel to the ball.

As for the rubbers, I would like to recommend the Tenergy 80 for forehand and Tenergy 05 for the backhand. Designed using a technique that combines a High Tension rubber and a tacky surface, the Tenergy series is known for their ability of imparting spin onto the ball, enabling a full range of topspin play.

I am sorry that your racket was stolen.  I hope you will find the blade that best accommodates your skills and technical needs.

Best regards,
