Upcoming Action This Week in Tokyo

Mixed Doubles ended first and the Singles (Men’s and Women’s) titles were awarded a few days ago.  So far, the medal count is 2 Gold Medals for China, 1 Gold for Japan, all three Silvers for China, and Bronze Medals for Germany (Men’s Singles), Japan (Women’s Singles), and Taipei (Mixed Doubles).  Total Medals: 5 for China, 2 for Japan, 1 for German, and 1 for Taipei.  There are two events remaining in the Olympics (Men’s Teams and Women’s Teams), and then there will be a transfer over to the Paralympics which will begin on August 24th.

What’s scheduled soon for the NBC STREAM?

The US Men fell to Sweden in yesterday’s matches.

The US Women fell to Taipei in yesterday’s matches.

Other Team matches scheduled today (Monday in Tokyo) include Japan/Australia in Men’s Teams, and France/Singapore and Korea/Poland in Women’s Teams.
