Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

Hi,

I have a Primorac carbon blade which was given to me by my uncle. He is a defensive player so he used anti power on his backhand. I would like to know what rubbers will be suitable for my backhand as my style of play is offensive. Could you also give me suggestions for forehand rubber. I am an offensive player and I like to play at medium to far distance from the table.
Thank you .

Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Liu Juan. She is a coach at New York Indoor Sports Club in New York and her response is as follows:

Hi Abhinav,

For your forehand, if your style is mostly looping and driving, then Tenergy 05 Hard is recommended.

For your backhand, if speed is the focus, Tenergy 64 is recommended. If control and spin is more preferred, then Tenergy 05 will be better.

I hope you find this helpful.

Best of luck!
