Over 80 players from various states competed at the Butterfly MDTTC June Open, which took place at the Maryland Table Tennis Center on June 13, 2015. Local juniors had excellent results: notably, 17-year-old Bowen Chen, a reverse penholder who coaches at MDTTC, won the Open Singles event; 10-year-old Tiffany Ke won the U2000 event; Matt Stephanov won the U1700 event, and 11-year-old Ryan Dabbs won the Under Age 16 event.  These top junior players are trying hard at MDTTC’s summer camps

We would like to thank all the participants, Tournament Director Charlene Liu and our sponsor Butterfly North America for another successful tournament.  Join us at the next Butterfly MDTTC Open, which will take place on Saturday, August 22!
