Butterfly Table Tennis Question and AnswerQuestion:
I recently bought this Butterfly Fukuhara Ai Pro ZLF wood, but I encounter a problem, which I do not find in my country, Chile, the rubber that is ideal for SPIN ART, other tires make it uncontrollable, too fast, I would like to be recommended a rubber, which I control, for attack and counterattack on and near the table, that can be used with this wood and as used by the playing family Fukuhara, whose game is similar to mine, thank you very much, I await your response.

This Ask the Experts question was answered by Junya Chen. Coach Chen is the head coach at the Canadian Elite Table Tennis Training Centre in Mississauga. Coach Chen’s response is as follows:
Hi Italo,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for using Butterfly products.
Seeing how you’ve tried Spin Art and found it to be too fast for you, I suggest you to stay away from high tension rubbers. I am going to recommend you to use Tackifire Drive. This rubber is easier to control while adding superior spin with its soft surface, it also provides generous amount of power for attack which is ideal for over the table play.
Good luck,

The Google Sheets image takes you to a spreadsheet that gives the settings for each drill. While these won’t be the exact settings for the Control Panel on your robot, they will give you an idea of where to start, and you’ll need to adjust from there. At the bottom, we’ve included the ranges and defaults for the setting on a Prime so you can compare these to the ranges and defaults on your own robot. In general, default settings should give you a similar ball regardless of what model you have. If a drill has a change of speed, spin, or trajectory, you will be unable to replicate that drill on a Basic or Start model.
