Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question:

I am a 2000 level player and 12 years old. I have not developed much power yet and is deciding to switch to Tenergy 05 on the forehand. Is that a smart idea?

Your Ask the Experts question was answered by Jinxin Wang. He is a Coach at Google in Mountain View, California. Coach Wang’s response is as follows:

Hi Tony,

Yes, that’s a great idea!

Tenergy 05 offers superb results both when borrowing from the other player’s speed, and when imparting your own power.

You’ll likely find the high speed and spin easier to create higher quality shots to help you develop the power you are working towards.

Best Wishes!

Coach Wang
