WAB CLUB FEATURE: Lily Yip Table Tennis Center

The Lily Yip Table Tennis Center (“LYTTC”) is a state of the art, 15,000 square foot, full-time, dedicated table tennis facility with 24 tables on two floors. The “Center” is located in the heart of Dunellen, New Jersey.  LYTTC offers summer camps, private lessons, group training, leagues and tournaments. In addition, they offer a Pro Shop to purchase your table tennis equipment in person.

The center’s 200 members includes currently US National Team Members: Alguetti brothers, Amy Wang, Jayden Zhou, Matthew Lu, Ivy Lie, and Annie Shangguan.  Coaches include Lily Yip, Judy Hugh, Cory Eider, Matt Hetherington, Jin Yuxiang, and Kaden Xu.  The coaching opportunities for players include classes, private lessons, and seasonal training camps.

The club hosts an extensive 10-week summer camp along with other camps including winter, spring break, and Christmas.  There are monthly 2-star USATT sanctioned tournaments and a weekly Friday night league with 7-8 divisions and approximately 60 players each week.

The club has been recognized by Butterfly as a top WAB club and by USATT as a National Center of Excellence.

The namesake of the club is Lily Yip, a two-time Olympian (‘92,’96) and US National Champion (doubles 92-95).  Yip has been honored as USATT Coach of the Year four times.  She remains an active coach of junior players, college players, and elite players.

From the founder to the the coaches to the players, there are few places in the U.S. where you can find as much elite talent in the sport as the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center.  Come and see for yourself.
