Meinhard Korte was born in Karlsruhe and began playing table tennis at the age of six. From an early age, he showed exceptional talent, becoming a two-time German Champion winning titles in the Under 13 and Under 14 categories. He also earned selection to the Junior German National Team.

During his professional playing career, Meinhard competed for 15 years in Germany, representing clubs in Hamburg and Berlin, including participation in Germany’s second division leagues. In the 2025 season, he competed in the Oberliga and Verbands Oberliga, posting an impressive record of 17 wins and 5 losses. In 2026, he added another milestone by winning first place at the Senior Olympics 2026 held in Michigan.

Before relocating to Michigan, Meinhard coached Sid and Nandan Naresh in Chicago, helping guide both players to a 2000 rating level.

Today, he leads Table Tennis 1on1, located in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, where he continues developing players of all ages and levels through high-level coaching and training.
