The deadline for registration into the 2025 Butterfly US Open Team Championships in Myrtle Beach is approaching—don’t wait to lock in your spot.  Register at Omnipong by August 10, 2025.

First place will earn $10,000, the other Finalist will see $5,000, and prize money is slotted all the way out to Quarterfinalists.  Division 2 also has cash prizes for first and second place.  This is a 4-Star event.  There will be great players from the US as well as international squads.  Kou Lei, Taehyun Kim, Hiromitsu Kasahara, Koyo Kanamitsu, Jinxin Wang, Yiran Wu, Sid Naresh, Daniel Gorak, Alexandru Cazacu currently top the list of over 300 players who have already signed up.

This isn’t just another tournament—it’s the team event of the Summer, with the energy and excitement only a major Butterfly event can deliver. And Myrtle Beach brings its own kind of magic – with miles of sandy beaches, ocean breezes, and world class entertainment—all just steps from the venue.

The event venue is walking distance from the beach, and within minutes you’ll find boardwalk attractions, restaurants, amusement parks, and water sports rentals. Swim, fish, tan, parasail, enjoy evening shows or clubs.

For teams bringing families, Myrtle Beach is ideal. Spend the morning battling through group stages, and the afternoon relaxing by the water or exploring the sites.

Add in the camaraderie of team play, the thrill of high-level matches, and a first-class event in a first-class venue —and you’ve got a tournament experience that is unforgettable.

If you’re planning to travel for one major team tournament this Summer —the 2025 Butterfly US Open Team Championships is the one.
