London welcome Chinese stars, final squad positions determined
The hotly anticipated 2018 ITTF World Team Cup is just a few months away with the action set to take place at the Copper Box Arena located in the English capital of London from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th February.

Star names from across the globe will compete for glory including representatives of title favourites China.

Spectators heading to the Copper Box Arena will see a host of China’s strongest competitors at the tournament as the team attempts to defend both the men’s and women’s titles in London.

Current World and Olympic champion Ma Long will lead the line for the Chinese male contingent with Fan Zhendong, Lin Gaoyuan and Xu Xin also confirmed for selection.

Three players have been confirmed for the Chinese women’s team lineup with World no.1 Zhu Yuling, Ding Ning and Liu Shiwen receiving call-ups.

With five entries allowed for each of the men’s and women’s squads, three positions remain up for grabs for Team China which will be determined through a qualification contest.

The deadline for final team alterations is Friday 12th January 2018.
