The Silicon Valley Table Tennis Club is located in Milpitas, just North of San Jose on the Southern edge of San Francisco Bay. From this spot in Silicon Valley, they have easy access to Oakland (35 miles) and San Francisco (50 miles) finding themselves accessible to one of the largest hot beds of table tennis in North America.
SVTTC was founded in 2011. The club features professional flooring, butterfly tables, good lighting and high ceilings. It is a great environment for elite training. There is also a Butterfly Pro shop for equipment needs.
The focus of the Silicon Valley Table Tennis Club is training. It is not generally a “drop in” club like many table tennis centers in the US. The focus of SVTTC is to design training to meet their students’ needs, and that is generally done through consultation with the staff.

The Google Sheets image takes you to a spreadsheet that gives the settings for each drill. While these won’t be the exact settings for the Control Panel on your robot, they will give you an idea of where to start, and you’ll need to adjust from there. At the bottom, we’ve included the ranges and defaults for the setting on a Prime so you can compare these to the ranges and defaults on your own robot. In general, default settings should give you a similar ball regardless of what model you have. If a drill has a change of speed, spin, or trajectory, you will be unable to replicate that drill on a Basic or Start model.
