Even though summer weather seems to be lazily hanging around, we are going full-bore on fall activities here at the center!
As always, this newsletter is the only email you’ll receive from us this month, so you’ll find it all in this one source — a quick overview of recent news as well as upcoming tournaments and programs, including this weekend’sUSATT 4-star sanctioned2017 Southeastern Open, with $7,500 in prizes and a Pre Tournament Training Camp, more Tournaments through January 2018, Leagues, and Group Lessons.
The 2017 Triangle September Open, North Carolina State Senior Games, and Over-40 Tour Event Tournaments were a blast!
With 3 tournaments, September was a busy month! The award for the biggest ratings jump across these tournaments goes to Carson Park-Walters (far left in the bottom picture) who shot up 369 points! We are excited to be hosting our second USATT National Team event this year from December 26th to January 2nd. This will be a high-performance camp for the National Team, with invitation criteria for additional players and coaches coming directly from USATT. Triangle Table Tennis is thrilled to host the event for USATT, and eager to show how well we can support the training needs of the National Team as it prepares for future Olympic Games.

The Google Sheets image takes you to a spreadsheet that gives the settings for each drill. While these won’t be the exact settings for the Control Panel on your robot, they will give you an idea of where to start, and you’ll need to adjust from there. At the bottom, we’ve included the ranges and defaults for the setting on a Prime so you can compare these to the ranges and defaults on your own robot. In general, default settings should give you a similar ball regardless of what model you have. If a drill has a change of speed, spin, or trajectory, you will be unable to replicate that drill on a Basic or Start model.
