2017 Colorado Rocky Mountain State Games

Hello Table Tennis players and friends!
The 2017 Colorado Rocky Mountain State Games took place last weekend – Saturday, July 22nd, & Sunday, July 23rd – at the YMCA in Colorado Springs.  The Denver Table Tennis Alliance was represented again in the well-organized event by Larry Rose.
DTTA congratulates, in particular, our club member and student, Chris Oltyan, who entered the Elite Singles – Under 1400 event as a 1100 player… and won Gold! Well played, Chris! We are very happy for you!
A special mention goes to our club member, Sam Sachnoff, who had a good tournament all around, and ended up being a 1300+ player. (He started this tournament being a 500 rated player.)
DTTA players Daniel Fuenmayor and Angelo Gandullia won Bronze in the Elite Doubles Open event. Also, Daniel won Silver in the Elite Singles Open, and Angelo won Silver in the Elite Singles 40+. All in all, we are happy our club did pretty well once again in the State Games.
We also want to thank the support of our sponsors, families and friends who were there for us!
Finally, we want to remind everybody that on Saturday, August 12th, DTTA is hosting our 6th MENSUAL Tourney…! We hope to see you there!
