A comprehensive education, Jinxin Wang provides food for thought

The pinnacle of his career to date; just over one year ago, Jinxin Wang won the Men’s Singles title at the United States Open.

Undoubtedly one of the factors that contributed to his success was the comprehensive education received in the sport of table tennis in his home country.

Born in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province in east central China, now 25 years old, Jinxin Wang moved to live in the United States of America in September 2014.

A right handed shake-hands grip attacking top spin player, he started playing table tennis when only six years old and eventually became a member of the Henan provincial team as well as the Xi’an Jiaotong University Team.

Notably at the 9th China University Games in 2012, he finished in third place in the Men’s Singles event.

Resident on Milpitas he combines playing with coaching in Northern California. Enjoying running, reading and watching movies, in addition he spends time writing about table tennis.
